VIVE has been engaged by AMERRA Capital Management, LLC to deliver independent and holistic verification of sustainability governance, policy and implementation across the portfolio companies that may be financed under its Natural Capital Strategy. Through this work, VIVE will verify each asset, set targeted improvement plans and metrics, and provide transparent, data‑driven reporting that supports long‑term sustainability objectives.
AMERRA’s Natural Capital Credit Strategy will back projects that enhance food production while protecting and restoring natural capital, with a focus on agricultural commodities in Latin America [with an emphasis on Brazil].
VIVE’s role is to convert on‑the‑ground practice into credible, decision‑useful data – so investors, buyers and operators can act with confidence, while aligning food & beverage customer requirements with investor expectations. The result is better risk management, stronger commercial outcomes, and measurable environmental and social impact across agricultural value chains.
VIVE completes the sustainable verification across multiple commodities and their by-products, allowing a standardised approach to AMERRA Capital’s sustainability reporting. Portfolio companies onboarded onto VIVE will be required to meet specific thresholds in order to receive financing benefits. If the initial requirements are not met, there will be a set remediation period to implement a continuous improvement plan, while remaining enrolled on the programme.
